Busy day ....

... haven't had chance to post anything today - we've had a fun family day out.  Well, we went shopping for Kathryn's birthday present.  She decided that she'd like a new camera.  We gave Kathryn a camera for Christmas a couple of years ago - it was a little compact that had previously been Ben's.  Well, Kathryn took to it like a duck to water.  I suppose I should have expected that - after all her Dad has a very good eye when it comes to photos!!

We had a very pleasant hour or so in Jessops and Kathryn picked a lovely new Nikon compact - all singing, all dancing!!  And best of all it's purple!!!  Lush.

And I was fortunate enough to get a new digital SLR too - a Canon 550D - it's wonderful.  I will be spending a lot of time in the next few weeks photographing everything in sight and working out the best settings to use.  I'm hoping that it will improve the photos I take of my cards too.

I haven't even had chance to get into my craft room today - which is a shame as LIM and Waltzingmouse have both posted super challenges - I'll have a go at them tomorrow and post my cards on Monday.  And tomorrow is the new CR84FN challenge - it's super.

Before I go, I'd like to say that my thoughts are with all those who lost family and friends in the awful events of 11th September 2001.  It was a day that changed the world.
