Favourite five of 2011 ....

.... over at A Scrapjourney, Debby has listed her favourite projects of 2011 and she'd like us to join in the fun too - she has a prize too - check it out.  Debby will doing the draw on 6th January - so you've still got time to link up your favourites.

Here are my favourite cards of 2011:

My first card was made for one of my Scouts.  She'd single handedly won the District Quiz competition for the Group - such a clever girl.  Katie was delighted with the card.  I got a Top Mouse award for this card.  Details here.

The second card was made for my brother-in-law's birthday and was also my card for St Luke's Charity Card Challenge.  I wanted a strong masculine feel - just love the colours of the chevrons.  He liked it too.  Details here.

My third card is really clean and simple, but really bright!  Love the rainbow colours in this card - and it's still in my stash!!  I think the Lotus pendant is one of my favourite Spellbinder dies!!  Details here.

My fourth card came together really quickly.  It was made for the For Your Inspiration challenge - their photos are always stunning.  I was awarded Lovely Lotus for this card and was Guest Designer too!  Details here

And my final card is a birthday card that I made for my niece.  She was really pleased with it.  And I was made a Colour Courtier for it too!  Details here.

I've had such fun reviewing my cards and I hope to get back into my craft room later this week.  Our Open House party yesterday was fabulous - lots of friends with good conversation, nibbles and some drinks too! The perfect start to 2012!!  Today is going to be a busy.  We have to take Ben to the airport as he's going back to Hastings to be with his Dad.  At about the same time as Ben is leaving, my Mum will be arriving at the airport - she's coming to stay with us for a few weeks.

That's all for now.  Do stop by tomorrow for January's St Luke's Charity Card Challenge - it'll be fun!!!  See you then!

What fabulous cards Deborah - I particularly remember being bowled over by numbers one and four when you first showed them! It sounds as if you've had a lovely holiday time and I'll look forward to more of your fabulous creations in the coming year.

Glad you ahd a good day yesterday. I think my favourite of these is your leaves one - the fourth; it's the way your leaves fall off the card in keeping with the stamped image & your perfect placement.
Take care with the driving.
