It's time to Waltz ....

..... along with Waltzing Mouse Stamps!!  This is one of my favourite times of the month.  Each month the team come up with a new theme - and this month the theme is, obviously, EASTER.  For details of how to join in check out Claire's blog here.

I've had such fun making Easter cards this year, and I'm really pleased with this one.  On the WMS Facebook page there has been some discussion about Stampin' Up! inks and clear stamps - well I can tell you that there are no problems at all - check out the card.

I got the colour theme from the Stampin' Up! Colour Coach - which has been really useful.  I wouldn't have picked these colours to go together, but they work!!  I stamped the background with Pic-Nic patterns and then made some Easter Eggs which I layered onto the card base.  I added a simple Easter Greeting and a little butterfly!  This card has been sent to my brother-in-law and his family to wish them a Happy Easter.

Stamps:  Pic-Nic Patterns, Nestie Eggs, Spring Baskets
Inks:  Stampin' Up! - So Saffron, Wild Wasabi, Rose Red
Spellbinders:  Nested Eggs (S4-264) # 2, 3 and 4

I'm going to try and get around all the blogs, but as I'm on holiday it may take a while.  Wishing everyone a Happy Easter :)

I've got the colour coach to investigate & certainly love the names of the Stampin Up inks. I can see they will have to come & be a fixture for me so I was pleased to hear that there's no trouble with them on clear stamps. Certainly looks brilliant to me & I do like your "nest" of eggs.
