... it's that time again - the new CR84FN colour challenge. And we have some really cool colours for you this week, and I mean that literally - light blue, aqua and cream - really cool!!
These are such pretty inspiration pictures, courtesy of Martha Stewart - isn't that cake wonderful? You may recall from last week's post, that I got my dates mixed up, while the rest of the team were sending Birthday Greetings to Sue Lelli with the beautiful pink, black and cream combination, I'm using this week's colours. So, Sue - Happy Birthday and here's your card.
I made the card base from a beautiful piece of textured card stock from my stash - it's a lovely thick card. The image is one that I first saw on Rosemary's card in CR84FN16 - I liked it so much that I bought it! I stamped it using Versamark and then heat embossed it with Cosmic Shimmer Olympic Gold Lustre, which is rich cream colour. I painted the flowers using Twinkling H2Os - but you can't really see the shimmer - but it looks lovely. I used one of my (many) Martha Stewart border punches to make the trellis effect. Finally I added two ribbons, one pale blue and one aqua, and a simple birthday sentiment.
Stamps: Hero Arts - Large Blossom
H2Os: Mediterranean Blue, Guatemalan Green, Chestnut Brown
Accessories: Martha Stewart punch; Craftwork Cards greeting sentiment; Cosmic Shimmer embossing powder; Card and ribbons from stash
Now, don't forget to visit the rest of the Design Team and our Guest Designer for the month of April, Silke Ledlow, for more inspiration.
That's all for today. Can't wait to see what you make with these wonderful cool colours!

I'd not have thought of light blue & aqua but rather effective & I really like your addition of the dark brown which accents the whole.
