CR84F28 ...

... and so onto our next challenge.  I can't believe quite how fast this year is going by.  We had over 70 entries to last week's challenge, it may have been even more, but for the fact that Blogger was seriously ill!!  Fortunately, normal service has now been restored.

The colours we have for you on this week's CR84FN challenge are just yummy!!  Red, yellow and neutral - so bright, so happy - such fun!!

Our inspiration photos are courtesy of Adam of embracelife photography - if you haven't had a look yet - do check out his blog - he takes the most wonderful photos.  And I don't need much encouragement to look at lovely photos!!

I wasn't sure what to do with this week's colours at first - the inspiration photos with the ginghams and fresh flowers were an idea.  But then I remembered some lovely stamps that I've just got from Waltzingmouse Stamps - really pretty doily stamps!!  And then it was easy.  I made a card using my new stamps and some that I've had for a while but not inked up!!

I stamped some of the small doilies onto a bit of scrap card that I'd already distressed with antique linen. I then cut a strip of card which I layered onto red mirri card.  I distressed an A6 white card with the antique linen ink and then randomly stamped some teapots and teacups.  I stamped three versions of the afternoon tea invitation stamp and then cut and layered them.

Stamps:  Waltzingmouse - Afternoon Tea, Large Doily, Dainty Doilies 2
Inks:  Stampin' Up! - Real Red, Daffodil Delight; Distress - Antique Linen
Accessories:  Mirri card and base card from stash

That's all for today - I really do have to catch up with some household chores - but I'll be back again tomorrow - something special to share with you.  Until then!!
