Acoustic Festival of Britain ...

.... or Mayfest 2011.  We're heading off for a weekend full of music and, I hope, sunshine!!  Last year we had a ball at the festival - the weather was brilliant - hot and sunny, music to suit everyone and family entertainment - just fab!!

I love the freedom to play with face paints and we all enjoy.  Even Jonathan got into the swing of things - the skull on his arm is a copy of the design on his t-shirt.  We discovered that the paint used was an extremely efficient sun block - as when we removed the design at bedtime - Jonathan had a lovely white pattern on his arm!!  It lasted quite a while :))))

On the last day of the festival - I had the main stage painted on to my arm - it turned out to be extremely popular and lots of people took photos - Jonathan took the one below.  If you follow the link to the festival's website - you'll see at the end of the banner head a painting of the main stage - it was painted on my arm!!!

In fact they liked the painted image so much that it featured on the review page - check it out!!  Hopefully, we'll have pitched the tent and be ready for some music by the time you read this.  Keep your fingers crossed for dry weather!!  And sun would be nice too!

That's all for now - I do have some scheduled posts, provided that Blogger behaves - see you soon.
