Sending hugs ....

.... to all my friends in Blogland.  So many people are suffering from awful weather conditions at the moment -  in the US, Australia and here (but we've got it easy compared to some).  So I thought I'd send some hugs, love and brightness over the net!  Where ever you are take care!!

This is a quick and simple card - I got the digi-image from Mel Stampz  a few years ago - it's a lovely image and so easy to colour (used promarkers).  The backing paper is by Pink Petticoat and comes from the Vintage Rose Collection, free with this month's Quick Cards.  The doily was made using a Joanna Sheen stamp onto vellum and embossed with detail white.  Final touches were to add ink around the edge of the image and greeting, and put on a lovely blue ribbon - from Stampin' Up!

That's all for this morning.  Kathryn and I are off to the dentist this morning.  It's not top of my favourite jobs, but needs to be done!  See you later.

Thanks Deb - your card is lovely and so are your thoughts. I concur with them - there are many people out there doing it tough at the moment. I am lucky to be where I am, and safe.

Awww...how sweet Deb. Winter can be a fierce contender. The snow and cold only make us look forward to spring all the more. Love your sweet card in such wonderful spring colors.

Hugs to you!

Beautiful card Deborah, I love the soft colours, the frame looks like parchment.

Gorgeous; the soft ansd serene colors remind me of spring and looking outside I can only say that spring is far away...We are having a storm with loads of rain and a lot of wind..
