ATSM - CAS ....

.... Hello and Good Evening!  It's time for our new challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More!  This week is our very, very popular CAS challenge.  This is our last challenge of the year as the DT will be taking a break to enjoy the festive period.

It is also my last post as a member of the Design Team.  I'd like to thank Kylie for inviting me to join the team - I've had a fabulous time and worked with the most talented group people.

Our sponsor for this week's challenge is Bugaboo Digital Stamps, and the winner will get 7 digis!! I've used a couple of my Bugaboo images on my cards - yes, I've made two!!  Apart from the colouring on the images, these cards were simply made from a Kaisercraft design paper pack - so very quick!

Stamps:  Bugaboo Digital Stamps - JJ Calendar Months December
Dies: Die-namics - In & Out Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Stax #3
Accessories: White Lustre Card; Kaisercraft DP - Holly Holly; Copic Markers; Glitter; Glossy Accents; SU Punch - 1" Circle

I really like the JJ character - she's fun and sassy!  I printed her on white card, coloured her with Copic markers and cut her out with a fancy edge die.  I added glossy accents to the Christmas light and spectacles, and glitter to the hat and boot trims.  I adhered the image flat to the card and finished the front with a simple number label, from the Kaisercraft paper pack, which I punched out and attached flat.  On the inside I cut a mat layer layer of design paper and on the white panel added a simple greeting.  This card was really, really quick to make!

My second card also features JJ, this time in a very snazzy green outfit!

Stamps:  Bugaboo Digital Stamps - JJ Xmas Cheer Deck the Halls
Accessories: White Lustre Card; Kaisercraft DP - Holly Holly; Copic Markers; Glitter; Glossy Accents; Wink of Stella - Clear

I printed JJ on white card, coloured her with Copic markers and then carefully cut her out with a scalpel.  I added sparkle to her dress, shoes and hair decorations with a clear Wink of Stella brush.  I cut a panel of design paper, which has a very subtle doily pattern and red spatter, slightly smaller than the card and adhered it to the card.  I used one of the printed tags in the paper pack attached it to the front and then place JJ just in front of it.  On the inside I cut another piece of design paper, and on the white panel I added a simple greeting.  This was also from the paper pack, but wasn't quite the right shade of green, so I coloured it with Copics to match JJ's dress.
