Stamps: Winnie & Walter - Comfort & Joy; Uniko - Simply Said Christmas
Inks: Versafine - Onyx Black; Brilliance - Galaxy Gold
Dies: Winnie & Walter - Joy Cutaway
Accessories: White Lustre Card; Kaisercraft DP - A Touch of Gold
I've made a really clean and simple card. I used my new die cut for the word "joy" which I cut out of black and gold design paper - love the bold, graphic look. I used some design paper to cover the card. Using my MISTI I positioned all the stars, inked them up and stamped them twice to give good ink coverage (particularly of the gold). Then I stamped the words "to the world" and finally I adhered the die cut word. This got the masculine seal of approval when Jonathan said how much he likes this one! On the inside I cut a mat layer of design paper and added a simple Christmas greeting.
I used colours from a recent Colour Throwdown Challenge - CTD#371 and I'm submitting this to Addicted to CAS - ATCAS#78 where the cue word is JOY! I'm also playing along with Happy Little Stampers Christmas - HLSDecXmas where they would like to see stars!
I'm sorry about the glare on the foiled pattern, but I had to use the flash on my camera yesterday to take the photos, so dark here, even in the morning!! I did manage to take another photo of the card at an angle so that you can see the paper better:
Do visit our blog to see more inspiration from the rest of the team. You've got plenty of time to play along with this challenge, it's the only one we're having this month. Deadline for submission is midnight Tuesday 29th December (7.00pm EDT). The challenge winners will be announced when we come back in the New Year. And that's all for now! See you soon, I'll be back with another card in the 12 Days of Creepmas Blog Hop!

Wow! Love the grid lines, which really give the masculine feel to this card. The choice of paper for JOY was inspired too. Looks fab in the DT showcase

Stunning card, Deborah! I love the gold pattern on your die cut sentiment and your gold stars are just beautiful! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at Addicted to CAS!
This is a wonderful masculine card, but truly, would work for either gender. Love the way you've played up the design of the DP with that bold die. Also great Misti work with the golden stars...and I liked the graphic look of the gridded dp. TFS and joining in with the HLS December Christmas Challenge. Merry Christmas
