WMSC - Yuletide ....

.... I really like the sketch for this week's Waltzingmouse Stamps Sketch Challenge - WMSC54 - it's got so many possibilities.  I made one card earlier this week, but knew that I'd be back!!  This time I've gone for a very traditional Christmas card in green, red and gold!  So here it is:

I did play with the sketch a little - but you can see the sketch in my card!  Thanks Belinda - great sketch!!  This was pretty straightforward to make.  I cut the paper to fit the card; I added the gold ribbon before attaching the paper to the card.  I stamped the images directly onto some white card and then cut them out with punches and distressed them with Antique Linen.  Finally I stamped the sentiment.  Easy and reasonably quick, and another for my 2011 Christmas Collection.  So glad that I've started early this year, I'm well on my way to my required 150 cards!!!!

Stamps:  Waltzingmouse - Around Christmastime, Compliments of the Season
Inks:  Stampin' Up! - Real Red; Distress - Antique Linen; Memento - Tuxedo Black
Paper:  Anita's - Classic Christmas Red Papers (ANT1601900)
Accessories:  Card and ribbon from stash

Here's the WMSC54 sketch - so that you can see I've not played with it much!

It's really grey here today - we had some really heavy rain last night - the garden is happy, although Mum and I would have prefered it to be brighter and with more sunshine.  However, it does mean that I can get the ironing done!!  See you later.

What a great idea to get a Christmas card in for the sketch challenge and I love what you did here - the colours are so traditional the card is so stylish. The save the date cards are also fabulous Deborah.
