CIC - Theme ....

Good morning!  I'm back today with my card for our new challenge at Cupcake Inspirations - CIC#347.  We have a theme for you this week and it's totally appropriate to the day - LOVE.  I had to make a Valentine card!

Stamps: Stamplorations - Bold Sentiments
Inks: Distress - Cracked Pistachio, Twisted Citron, Lucky Clover; Stampin' Up! - Real Red
Accessories: White Lustre Card; Stamplorations Stencil - Hearts All Over

Our sponsor for this week's challenge is Stamplorations and I was lucky enough to get the stencil and stamps from them to use this week - thank you so much.  I had fun with this card.  I used the sketch from this week's CAS(E) this Sketch! - CTS#159.  It was actually really quick to make.  I taped the card to my desk with the stencil taped on top and then simply sponged on three shades of green. Now, I realise that green is not a traditional colour for Valentines, but it is my husband's favourite colour!  I added a touch of red with the sentiment.  On the inside I lightly sponged on some more hearts and added the word "forever".  I can share this safely today, as he'll have had the card!
