Man of the Match ...

.... Hi , I've had a storming morning - my ironing pile has vanished!!! Yea!!  Sadly, it's being replenished as I type - more washing almost dried.  I think ironing is my least favourite job of all household jobs - actually that might be gardening!  Anyway, I've managed to get to play in my craft room again today and I've made a tiny card for a couple of challenges:

Stamps: Papermania - For the Love of Sports
Inks: Memento - Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Promarkers - True Blue, Canary, Ice-Grey 3; Papermania - 3" × 3" card

I didn't think I was going to play along with Less is More this week as I couldn't think what to make.  Then I remembered a set of stamps that I got some time ago that have only seen ink a couple of times.  The image I wanted to use is tiny, so I decided to make a small card - it's only 3" × 3" - and I'll keep this in my stash.  I coloured the image with Promarkers and now that I've blown up the image I can see that I've gone over the line a bit!!

And that really is all for today - but do drop by tomorrow.  See you!

My Mum always used to say Ironing was OK....warm work......shame it doesn't work for me here :) Not my favourite job either!
Love your card for the LIM challenge Deborah....great image!

Gardening and Ironing - YUCK! (Why do you iron? In my house, the only one who wears clothes that require ironing is my hubby, and he does his shirts himself! On the other hand I had a friend whose mother would iron his underwear, so maybe different people have different ideas of what 'needs' to be ironed!) This is a really fun image - I was hoping to play along but find myself woefully lacking in sport/exercise themed stamps. Unless I come up with something really clever, I'll be having to pass on this one!

Hi Deborah
Thank you for your kind comments on my card - did those boots come from the same set I used.

Sometimes the smaller images make just the perfect little card and this is one of them. Spot on colours too for those modern day football boots too :0)

I could never make a CAS card like that. It's perfect!
I can't stand ironing... but it's a great way to stay warm when it's -2 outside!

What a cute little card, Deborah! I love 3x3 cards. I bet you will find the perfect occasion for it one of these days. Great use of the colors and thanks for playing along with The Paper Players this week!

Great image, loads of lovely white space! Housework ... not inspiring to do any of it (we'd all much rather be crafting!) but lovely when it's done! Anita :)
