WOYWW85 ...

... the week has gone by so quickly again - and it's time to have a good old nosey around other people's desks :)  Over at Stamping Ground, Julia has got lots of books on her desk today.  What, no crafting?  Follow the links - have a snoop look around - lots of lovely creations to see.  This is such fun!! 

As for my desk - it looks like a bomb's hit it!!  Actually, I'm getting ready for a mega session - lots of challenges to do, and I've been browsing through my stamp catalogue.  And I've been naughty - not put away some of the stuff I've finished with - oops!!

I didn't get chance to visit to many desks last week, but I'll try to do better this week.

I also need to take this opportunity to welcome to new followers to my blog - these are very special people.  One is my daughter Kathryn, and some of you have found her blog already.  And the other is my friend's daughter, Mawgan - she too has started her own blog.  It's so much fun having them join in our passion for crafting!

... not too much today - as some of you may know from my blog - I've been tidying!! 

Some of the projects I've already posted, and a few that are in progress!!

On my desk last week there was a picture of my challenge notebook - which seems to be a popular idea - I couldn't do without it.  Anyway, I decided that I would make a new book for 2011.  I did look for a totally plain notebook to decorate, but I ended up buying a rather beautiful A5 spiral bound notebook from WHSmiths (for those not in the UK - this is a stationery shop).  I loved the colour (purple) and the outline hibicus flowers.  So all I did was add some ribbons - still very pretty!!

My new notebook - just love the cover, so I couldn't alter it - just added some ribbons for fun!

And that's all for now - I really must do something in the house - I keep putting it off to make cards instead.  I'll be back later this evening with some more stuff to show you.  I will try to get around as many desks as possible - I do love to peek!! 

WOYWW80 ....

... Yes, I know it's not Wednesday today, but I completely forgot to take a photo of my desk!!  Silly me!  So I've done one today.  And my desk's a mess.  But a productive mess.

I'm still frantically finishing off my Christmas cards.  I'm in the middle of making some little 3" x 3" cards for my Scouts.  I intend to make some little boxes too and I'm going to fill them with sweets!!  I've also got to make a few special cards for my hubby and the children - but I'll save those for after Christmas!!

And it's not just what's on my desk - it's what's on the floor!!  That's a complete mess - but at least everything is to hand. 

I'll try to get around everyone's desk - but I can't promise - as it's just a bit crazy here now.

Oh yes, I got the result for my astronomy course today - and I'm delighted to say that I passed.  It was fun course.  After Christmas I have to start work on the end of course assignment for the planets course.  So slacking here!!
