Happy Birthday Ardyth .....

... I do hope that this is a BIG surprise for you!  Darnell has organised a BIRTHDAY PARTY for Ardyth (MASKerade), she did suggest that we might like to CASE one of your amazing cards, but I forgot didn't think I could it justice!!  Ardyth's style is perfectly clean and simple; she loves graphic designs, bold colours and rainbows!!  I can spot an "Ardyth card" at ten paces!!

So my birthday card for Ardyth focuses on the fact that she, like me, is a Gemini and, according to the stamp on her card, she is "clever and imaginative", and Ardyth - you are certainly that!  Hope you have a simply wonderful day and you'll get this card soon!

Stamps: PTI - Stargazer; CAS-ual Fridays Stamps - Mum's the Word
Inks: Stampin' Up! - Real Red; Versamark
Dies: Die-namics - Fishtail Flags STAX #2; Spellbinders - Stars (S4-092) #1 & 2
Accessories: SU Card - Night of Navy, Real Red; White embossing powder; White Lustre card

I used a couple of challenges in the making of this card - the layout is from last week's My Favourite Things Wednesday Sketch Club - MFTWSC125 - it was just right for the card, and the colours are from this week's CAS-ual Fridays Challenge - CFC102 to use red, white and blue!

As you can tell this is the constellation Gemini and it has pride of place on the front of Ardyth's card, around the edge of the blue card are a number of the other constellations stamped in Versamark and embossed with white powder (night sky!!).  I love the bold statement for Gemini (and obviously I totally agree with it :).  I finished off the front with a die cut star.  The inside is very simple with a mat layer in blue and the sentiment stamped in red.

If you would like to join in and wish Ardyth a Happy Birthday - you can link up your card to Darnell's blog here!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
ARDYTH!!

That's all for now - see you soon.

I am certainly surprised! And overwhelmed and humbled by all the beautiful cards and good wishes that I am receiving! I love this card - wonderful sentiment and educational, too - I don't think I knew that the constellation actually looked like twins! Thank you so much, Deborah!

I had a feeling you might get that stamp set - I've got my eye on it too!

Great card - works brilliantly in the patriotic colour scheme.
