Uniko - Organic Wishes ....

..... Hi! You've reached day five of our Uniko introductions. This stamp set came about from some doodles that our teammate, Lindsey, sent to Bev who worked her magic, and thus Organic Wishes arrived. You'll see that the set works perfectly with the previous Organics sets, but this morning, I thought I'd just let this set have the limelight!

Stamps: Uniko - Organic Wishes
Inks: Versamark; Gina K - Dark Chocolate
Accessories: White Lustre Card; SU Card - Early Espresso; Gold Embossing Powder; Wink of Stella - Clear

This set contains some wonderful seedhead images, along with stems, some seeds, and lovely sentiments. I decided to focus on one seedhead. I used my MISTI to stamp the image repeatedly in pale grey ink, coloured it with Copic markers, put it back in the MISTI, stamped with Versmark and then heat embossed with gold powder. I added a simple sentiment and some floating seedheads. I layered the finished panel on dark brown card and adhered it to the card base. On the inside, I cut a mat layer of brown card and on the white panel stamped some more seedheads.

I used the colours from this month's House of Cards Challenge - HOC#10, the layout is based on the sketch from CAS Colours & Sketches - CASC&S#244, and as there's an odd number of seedheads I'm also playing along with CASology - CAS#270 where they want Odd!

Uniko - Sneak Peek 4 ....

.... Morning! Are you excited yet? Today is the last sneak peek from Uniko's release:

The concept and starting doodles of this set came from Lindsey, a member of our Design Team. You can see that the style fits with the gorgeous Organic series of stamps. I really like the way Bev's stamps all work together.

Bev has another new stamp in the Background Blocks series.  There are so many ways that you're going to be able to use this set. I really like it!

Uniko - Sneak Peeks 2 & 3 ....

Uniko - Sneak Peek 1 ....

..... Hi! Good morning! There's a lot going on at Uniko this month. Not only is there a release this month, but Bev has a stand at Happy Stampers Festival in Liverpool today and a stand at Stamp Magic Sunday in Doncaster on 15th October. You'll be able to meet Bev and some of the Design Team at these shows - sadly, as I'm in the States, I can't be there - but I'm sure they'll have a great time.

Now it's time for our first sneak peek of this month's release:

Did you like the wonderful Block Party Birthday stamp? Large, full of images and text and just right for making a quick card. If so, I think you're going to love this one - it's going to make creating Christmas cards a breeze!
