Uniko - October Release, DT Blog Hop and Giveaway ....

.... I do hope you've all been enjoying the introductions that I've posted last week. Today's the day - Uniko releases 5 new stamp sets today - they are available to purchase in the online shop. I've got lots to share with you this morning - so grab a coffee and take a seat, it's going to take a while!!!

I'm starting off with a couple more cards showcasing Block Party Christmas. I mentioned earlier last week that I needed to make lots of Christmas cards in a hurry - and this stamp is just perfect for that! Here they are:

Stamps: Uniko - Block Party Christmas, Most Welcome, Festive Sentiments, Reach for the Stars
Inks: Versafine - Onyx Black; Kaleidacolor - Fruit Cake; Gina K - Black Onyx
Accessories: White Lustre Card; SU Card - Basic Black, Basic Grey; Wink of Stella - Clear; Clear Embossing Powder

I stamped the card on the left with Versafine and heat embossed with clear powder. I coloured some of the elements with ink and a clear Wink of Stella brush. I was going to colour the word 'merry' but instead simply added lots of clear WOS. The card on the right was so quick and easy (and I'll probably make a few more of them). I simply stamped the image with a Kaleidacolor ink pad. I think this pad - Fruit Cake - is particularly good for Christmas cards. On the inside, I cut mat layers of black and dark grey card and on the white panel added a Christmas greeting and some more stars. I'm submitting this set of two cards to Inkspirational - INK#145 as they are one layer cards.

Next up are some cards that showcase Festive Sentiments - so lots more Christmas cards. Once again, I've made great use of my huge design paper stash.

Stamps: Uniko - Festive Sentiments, Reach for the Stars, Most Wonderful, Winter Foliage
Inks: Versamark; Versafine - Onyx Black; Gina K - Black Onyx, Kraft, Dark Chocolate
Accessories: White Lustre Card; Cream Lustre Card; SU Card - Basic Grey, Smoky Slate, Basic Black; Gold/Black Mirri Card; Black Glossy Card; Silver Mirri Card; Embossing Powder - Clear, Silver and Gold; Wink of Stella - Clear; Kaisercraft Design Paper - Christmas Edition, Christmas Jewel

The top two cards are made from one sheet of design paper from Christmas Edition - the image is repeated so I simply cut the paper in half. I stamped the large words in Versamark, embossed them with gold powder, added the smaller words, layered them on marble card and adhered them to the front of the card. The stag paper also comes from Christmas Edition - this time I used a white card base and silver and black embossing. The middle two cards use paper from Christmas Jewel. I really like the way the large sentiments look on these cards. On the inside, I cut mat layers of card and added Christmas greetings and more stars to the white panels.

I'm submitting this set of six cards to Happy Little Stampers Christmas challenge - HLSXMAS#10, where it's Anything Goes with the option of Silhouette.

Next up is another Christmas card showing off Background Block Falling Snowflakes:

From Our House to Yours - photo by Deborah Frings - Deborah's Gems

Stamps: Uniko - Background Blocks Falling Snowflakes, Home Sweet Home, Most Wonderful; Background Builder Vines Winter Additions
Inks: Gina K - Black Onyx, Ocean Mist, Powder Blue, Lemon Drop, Christmas Pine, Cherry Red; Versafine - Onyx Black
Accessories: White Lustre Card; SU Card - Bermuda Bay; Copics; Clear Embossing Powder; Glitter

I stamped the Falling Snowflakes in two shades of blue. I used a transfer stamp to do the mirror image impression. I used the MISTI to stamp the greeting in the middle of the card. I stamped the house on some scrap card, coloured it with Copics, restamped in Versafine and heat embossed with clear powder. I adhered the house to the card and finished the front by adding some glitter for the snow. On the inside, I cut a mat layer of deep aqua card and stamped a simple Christmas greeting on the white panel. I'm submitting this card to Addicted to Stamps and More! - ATSM#263 for their holiday challenge.

My next card is a reasonably clean, simple card featuring the Background Blocks Wonky Outline Stripes:

Baby Sprinkle - photo by Deborah Frings - Deborah's Gems

Stamps: Uniko - Background Blocks Wonky Outline Stripes, Sweet Baby
Inks: Versamark; Gina K - Moonlit Fog
Dies: Lil Inkers - Stitched Panels; Altenew - Stars #6
Accessories: White Lustre Card; SU Card - Basic Grey; Copics; Wink of Stella - Clear; Computer Generated Greeting; Silver Embossing Powder; SU Punch - Oval

I stamped the stripes on white card and coloured with several shades of pale blue and pale green. Once finished I put the image back in my MISTI inked with Versamark and embossed the panel with silver powder. I then cut a flag using a stitched edge die. I stamped the bear on scrap card, colour it with Copics, restamped with Versamark and embossed with silver powder then carefully cut it out. The greeting came from the Baby Sprinkle that I attended yesterday - I printed on white card, coloured the word 'sprinkle' to match the bear, punched it out and edged it with silver embossing powder. I adhered the flag panel and grey star flat to the card. The bear was attched with one layer of dimensional pads and the greeting oval with two layers. So this card has lots of dimension. I finished the front by adding lots of clear sparkle to the bear with a Wink of Stella brush. On the inside I cut mat layer of dark grey card and on the white panel added a line of lower case letters from Sweet Baby and added another bear. I'm submitting this card to the current Fusion Card Challenge - FUSION#84 where I used the sketch.

I'm safe to share this card today as Lucie got it yesterday. We had such a fun time at her Baby Shower - she went home with lots of lovely cards, and gifts. Only a few weeks until her little baby comes into the world.

Now my final card in the mamoth post feature the gorgeous Organic Wishes:

Thanks - photo by Deborah Frings - Deborah's Gems

Stamps: Uniko - Organic Wishes, Background Block Wonky Outline Stripes
Inks: Gina K - Sweet Mango, Fresh Asparagus, Sweet Corn, Warm Cocoa; Versamark
Dies: Lil Inker - Stitched Panels
Accessories: White Lustre Card; SU Card - Basic Black; Gold and Clear Embossin Powder

I had a bit of card left over from my Halloween card, so I used that to create the word 'Thanks'. I stamped in Versamark, heat embossed with gold powder and then carefully cut out the letters and adhered them onto a black panel that I die cut with a stitched edge die. Next I stamped an explosion of autumn foliage around the card and adhered the word in the centre. On the inside I cut a mat layer of black card and added more autumn foliage on the white panel. I'm submitting this card to several challenges - House of Cards - HOC#10 where I used their colours, CAS on Friday - CASOF#118 where they want an Autumn/Halloween card, and to Cardz 4 Guyz - C4G#180 where the theme is Halloween or Autumn Thanks.
