Stamps: Uniko - Marvellous Mehndi, All Occasion Sentiments #6
Inks: Versamark; Versafine - Onyx Black
Accessories: White Lustre Card; Vellum; Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder; Zig Colouring Pens
I had so much fun making this card. It's absolutely clean and simple and very elegant too. I used vellum to make the front panel of the card. I used my antistatic buddy all over the vellum and then stamped, using my MISTI, the mandala image and sentiment in Versamark ink. I heat embossed them both with gold tinsel powder - it has a really pretty shimmer. On a piece of white I then stamped the mandala again - this is where the MISTI really comes into its own - perfect placement of the image. I used my new Zig pens to rainbow colour the mandala. And that's it - very clean and simple.
You can see just how bright the rainbow colours are on the inside of the card and how the vellum softens them down! As I used my new Zig markers on this card, I'm also going to submit to Addicted to Stamps and More! - ATSM#217. And over at Less is More - LIM#299, the team want us to use vellum or acetate! Here's one more photo of the card where you can clearly see that the front panel is just a piece of vellum:

Great contrast between the vellum and card Mandela. Fabulous idea!
This looks fabulous, Deborah! I love the way that the vellum softens the rainbow colours and the gold embossing is perfect too. Thank you for sharing with us at Less is More as well this week :)
WOW! Debs this is awesome! At first I thought you'd coloured the reverse of the Vellum mandala but woah! You've actually coloured inside the card in such fun vibrant and bold rainbow colours then muted it with the vellum. So clever and inspirational. Oh and thanks for linking up at Less is More too this week. Hugs Sarah x
Wow. Stunning card.

Wow! Looks like a stained glass window. Fab! xx
Wow! This is stunning! Absolutely fantastic rainbow colouring, and looking gorgeous with the vellum softening and muting the colours. I love the gold tinsel embossing powder too, just fabulous. Thanks for sharing with us at Less is More :)
WOW! Now that is precision stamping and a genius technique - LOVE! The mandala is a perfect choice for this challenge. FAB FAB FABulous showcase. Hugs Bev x
Your card is beautiful. What a terrific idea for the vellum! And your choice of gold embossing is just perfect! Thanks for sharing at Less is More!
In a word, genius! I really thought you had colored your image with pale pastels from the back, Deborah. But it's way cooler that you did it this way so the recipient has two beautiful images in one card ~ although, personally, I think it should be framed rather than mailed! I'm pinning this and buying some of that e/p!! Hugs, Darnell
Ooooh, this is fabulous. I'm with Sarah and initially thought you'd coloured on the reverse but this design is terrific! Well done on a great design.
Thanks for sharing with us.

Wow! Beautiful! Love this simple elegance. Thanks so much for joining us at Addicted to Stamps!
Simply gorgeous!
Deborah, This is GORGEOUS!! I love the effect of the vellum over the bright colors! I definitely need to try this. How are you liking your Zigs? I've had mine for a while, but I'm still getting use to them!
I love this pattern and the colours you've used. The vellum is inspired.
