Party night ....

.... Hi - I didn't make it back yesterday - I had a migraine and ended up spending most of the day sleeping.  Still, all better today.  I went to a Stampin' Up! card making party on Wednesday hosted by Karin, my local SU demonstrator.  We had a super time making several cards, a bottle tag and gift tag; I got a couple more cards for my Christmas collection and one more Thanksgiving card.  All the cards have were designed by Karin Menghini and I've CASEd them all!!

Stamps: SU - French Foliage, Day of Gratitude
Inks: SU - Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie
Accessories:  SU - Ribbon, Naturals Ivory Card, Paper piercing kit

I'm so pleased that we used this set - it's one that I really like but for some reason I don't have!  We used this love sentiment on the inside.  I like this card too - it has a subtle fleck in the card - which is just perfect for a natural feeling.

Stamps: SU - Delightful Decorations, More Merry Messages
Inks: SU - Midnight Muse
Accessories:  SU - Ribbon; Northern Flurry EF; Card - Baja Breeze, Midnight Muse; 2 3/8" Scallop Punch; 2½" Circle Punch; Ornament Punch; Glitter

I love the deep embossing that you get from this folder - looks very luxurious.  The new ink pads are fabulous - the coverage is excellent - the pads are very juicy though!  I love the sparkle on this ornament - so easy to do too.  Simply stamp the image twice on to white card, place some double sided adhesive sheet on top, cut out with punch, peel off the top layer and dip into glitter!  Lovely!

Stamps: SU - Christmas Lodge
Inks: SU - Crumb Cake, Always Artichoke
Accessories:  SU - Ribbon; Card - Always Artichoke, Whisper White

This is such a quick and easy card to make - perfect for mass production.  I think this tree is just lovely - you can imagine it covered with Christmas lights.  We decorated the inside of the card with another sentiment from the same set.  I'm don't have this set, but I'm going to adapt the design to use some of my existing stamps.  I think it will look great in different colours too.

Finally we made a tag for a bottle of wine and a Christmas gift tag.

Stamps: SU - Ornament Keepsakes
Inks: SU - Lucky Limeade, Early Espresso
Accessories:  SU - Ribbon; SU Card - Very Vanilla, Real Red; Candlelight Christmas DP; Framelits - Holiday Ornaments

That's all for today.  I've got lots to do today - not good losing a day to migraine!! Take care and see you soon.
