I followed our sketch to the letter. I used the colours from this week's Colour Q - cQc#257 challenge for a non-traditional look and because I thought they would work on a gingerbread house. I printed the image onto plain white card, coloured it with Copic markers, added some glitter and cut it out. I created the circles using my Spellbinder dies and adhered the gingerbread house to the large circle and the snowflake to the small one. I cut a strip of pink card, adhered the design paper, wrapped the ribbon round and then adhered it all to the card. I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to position the sentiment. I finished front of the card with a couple of gems. On the inside I cut a mat layer in lime, stamped the sentiment in navy and edged the white card with the pink Copic marker for a fine border.
For more inspiration using the sketch check our the cards from the rest of the Design Team - as always they are fabulous. Looking forward to seeing your creations.

ReplyDeleteThe glitter adds just the right amount of sparkle to the "frosting" on the gingerbread house! ColourQ gave an interesting combination of colors and you've used them well.
