One for four ....

... Hi!  Today's card was made with four challenges in mind:

Just a note - photo by Deborah Frings - Deborah's Gems

Stamps: Uniko Studio - All Occasion Sentiments No 1, Beautiful Blooms 1
Inks: Versamark; Versafine - Onyx Black; Stampin' Up! - Melon Mambo
Dies: Memory Box - Blissful Butterfly Border; Uniko Studio - Beautiful Blooms 1
Accessories: White Lustre Card; SU Card - Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Pistachio Pudding; SU DP - Real Red, Pumpkin Pie; Clear Embossing Powder

I hope the ladies at Fusion and Uniko Studio don't mind me taking a few liberties with their challenges, I've added a touch of green to the Fusion colour palette and  a bit of orange and yellow to the Uniko Studio palette.  I used the sketch from Fusion and used my new (NBUS) butterfly border along the bottom with the inlaid die technique (which I love).  On the inside I cut a mat layer in pale green and stamped another of the lovely big blooms on the side.

Did anyone watch the first match of the Football World Cup last night?  I know I might be in the minority here, but I really enjoy football (that's soccer to my American friends) and we've got great coverage here.  Brazil, as expected, won the opening match against Croatia 3 - 1, but it was a closer match than the score suggests!!  That's all for today.

  1. Simply stunning Deborah :) Love the colours you've chosen to work with & mix of products work really well together. Thank you for joining in on the Uniko Studio & TIME OUT Challenges :) Yes, I watched the game last night! I'm subjected to football a lot here but I don't mind the World Cup! I thought Croatia played really well & Brazil were VERY lucky to win. Hugs Bev x

  5. Your card is so, so pretty Deborah! I love the design and the colors and how you've used them and, of course, the inlaid butterfly border*! As usual, I also love the inside as much as the outside!! YOU should start a DYI Challenge (not to be confused with DIY) for "Do Your Inside!" You always remind me of that with your wonderful cards.

Thank you SO much for joining in my NBUS Challenge, posting the button, and spreading the word! It means a lot to me!! Have a great day and enjoy that football! Hugs, Darnell

*Sigh. You know I'm so stupid. When I started this NBUS Challenge it never even occurred to me how much new-to-me product I would be seeing as a result and now my Wish Book has grown to two volumes and I'll end up buried under NBUS Mountain!! I might as well go ahead and draft the post that Mister can publish after he's found me smothered out in the Playhouse!!
