Smile ...

....  Hi again - I'm back with another card from my homework for Clean & Simple Card Making 2.  I've used the same technique as I did for the birthday card I posted earlier

Stamps: CAS-ual Friday Stamps - Casual Elegance
Inks: Stampin' Up! - Tangerine Tango, Old Olive
Dies: Spellbinder - Inverted Classic Scalloped Circles Sm (S4-195) #3
Accessories: Creative Expressions Stencil - Floral Lace; Cosmic Shimmer Mist - Rich Gold; SU Design Paper - Old Olive; White card from stash

I decided to try a more monochromatic colour theme this time, misted the panel with Rich Gold and stamping the sentiment in orange.  I was going to make the banner in orange too, but it didn't look right, so I tried a contrast with this green.  I like the green, but I think the banner is too wide.  In hindsight, I think I should have cut out the leaves.  I do like the shimmer from the spray.

I think that's all for today - take care, keep warm and be safe.
