Pink Birthday Wishes ....

.... Hi, I've got a birthday card to share with you today.  As I've been running rather late with some of my recent birthday cards, I've checked my calender for December and January and I've got lots of birthdays coming up.  So here's the first one; I used two challenges to make it:

Stamps: Waltzingmouse - Camellia, Eat Cake
Inks: Memento - Grey Flannel
Dies: Spellbinders - Floral Ovals (S4-356) #3; My Favourite Things - Die-namics - Beautiful Bows
Accessories: Promarkers - Blossom, Pink Carnation, Fuchsia Pink, Soft Green, Grey Green; Pink Illusion card (QVC); Card from stash

This is a really pretty card with lots of flowers and scrolls!  I started off with this pretty pink illusion card - I think I got it from QVC years ago.  I even managed to capture the pretty pattern in the photo!  I used a Martha Stewart punch to make the pretty flowered borders.  I cut a piece of cream card to go on top - too much of the illusion card is not good!  I cut a pretty oval frame in the pink card and cut a mat in cream to go on top.  I stamped the small camellia three time onto cream card and coloured with Promarkers.  I cut the flower and leaves out and adhered them to the oval.  There are three layer to the flower.  Next I made this pretty bow using my new Die-namic Beautiful Bows dies - I used the small bow.  I coloured the card to match the camellia.  It is so easy to make a nice bow with this set!!  I finished off with a simple sentiment stamped in grey.

I was out at a Stampin' Up! party last night - we made several cards for Christmas, along with some tags - check back later and I'll share them with you.  It was a fun evening!
