Christmas leaves ....

... Hi!  I've finally made my card for this week's CASology - CAS14 challenge.  The cue word this week is "LEAF".  I had lots of ideas for Thanksgiving or Fall type cards, but I've made a Christmas card instead.

Stamps: Waltzingmouse - Festive Foliage, Frame-It
Ink:  Memento - Tuxedo Black
Spellbinders: Fleur de Lis Squares (S4-318) #4, Squares Lg (S4-126) #6
Accessories:  Promarkers - Lush Green, Soft Green, Tea Green, Poppy; Green Foil card; Card from stash

I cut a square of white card and then using my stamp-a-ma-jig stamped the frame.  I used the waste as a mask and stamped the mistletoe into the frame and coloured with Promarkers.  Love this sentiment and works perfectly with the mistletoe.  I finished off by mounting the coloured image to the ornate frame and attaching to my card base.  Quick and easy to make.  I think there will be a few more in this series.

Bye for now - off to check on a few of my favourite challenges!!

  1. Great idea to take the challenge down the Christmas route - I love the metalic green die cut to go with it really makes it sing.

  3. Oh my gosh! Love this one too! I love that fame and just used it a few day ago, but love seeing it in foil. I love the way it still makes for a CAS card, with a bit of fancy elegance.
