WOYWW ....

... the first one of 2011 - and I've actually made it on the day!!   Amazing.  On my desk today are bits and pieces that I'm using for a couple of challenges - check back later for the card.  It's still reasonably tidy - but you should see the floor!!  Then again, maybe not!

Still bits lying around from the oriental thanks card.

Ah!!  There's my challenge note book - details of challenges I'm going to try to do!

Ah - for my challenge card - check back later.

I don't plan my desk for the WOYWW photo - it's just whatever happens to be there at the time - sometimes it's scraps from cards made earlier (mostly it's this), but today I'm actually a bit prepared!!  I'll try to get around and see everyone's desks - but it's a big list and getting bigger by the minute!! :)

  1. I think that the Challenge notebook is a really good idea. I tend to write details of challenge requirements on bits of paper and promptly lose them!
I may 'take a leaf out of your book'.
    Happy New Year!

  2. It's fun seeing other crafter's desks and realize that I'm not the only with a PILE of stuff on my workstation.

I also keep a monthly calendar on my bulletin board with crafty dates written in. It's a great way to stay (or try anyway) organized.

    Happy New Year!

  9. I think you've just given us some great ideas. The challenge notebook is a brilliant thought, and I also love that two-tier desk. One tier for stuff and one for working. Simples but so very clever.

That pretty daffodil card is chasing away the thoughts of more snow tomorrow.

  11. ah such a lovely snoop you have a wonderful workdesk and some lovely stash, and inddedy you live in a wonderful place (I read your profile)

If I did not adore Derbyshire I would also agree that North Wales is most beautiful, but the Lakes are rather wonderful too, as it most of Scotland, however, my heart lives in the Canal Du Midi and Languedoc-Roussillon oh and Durban with my tippie toes in the Indian ocean

i need a few more houses and a lot more cash! or I might just become a second wave (old age) traveller

  14. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! Your desk looks like a workable surface; I didn't dare post my "desk" desk, just the computer one.

I love the card you made for the challenge, truly lovely. I particularly like the yellow you chose.

  18. I like the challenge note book - very organized. I'm trying something similar for this year as well just for my blog, as it got quite a lot last year and I sometimes lost track. And I see that you like to eat ice-cream...

  23. What a lovely desk full of interesting things happening. I like the idea of your challenge notebook. I think I may borrow that idea, I need to be more organised and keep losing the scraps of paper I usually scribble things on.

  24. I agree that the list is getting bigger and bigger. Like you, I'm trying to get to everyone, but when I have a desk with as many projects as yours, it takes a long time to snoop. That challenge notebook is a very clever idea and I love that stamp you will be using. Happy WOYWW on Friday from #16.
