Uniko - Block Party Christmas ...

... Hi! We've shown you a peek of the October Uniko release, and now we start with our introductions. Today we're introducing Block Party Christmas. This is a large stamp measuring 3⅝" x 5⅛" and it's full of images and text. You'll recognise some of the images from other stamps sets. By this time of the year, I'm normally well into making my Christmas cards, but not so much this year. This stamp makes it so easy to mass produce Christmas cards:

Stamps: Uniko - Block Party Christmas, Most Wonderful, Festive Sentiments, Reach for the Stars
Inks: Versamark; Gina K - Black Onyx; Delicata - Silvery Shimmer, Golden Glitz; Stampin' Up! - Emerald Envy, Real Red
Accessories: White Lustre Card; SU Card - Emerald Envy, Real Red, So Saffron, Smoky Slate; Embossing Powder - Silver Tinsel, Gold Tinsel, Red Tinsel, Green Tinsel

I really like this stamp with all its lovely details. I let the image be the main focus and shine - quite literally! I used my MISTI to stamp the image in the centre of a 4½" x 6¼" in Versamark and then I used sparkly embossing powders. On the inside, I cut mat layers to match the colour of the embossing powders, and on the white panels I stamped a simple greeting and added some stars - also to match the colour of the powders.

As these cards are all one layer, I'm submitting them to Inkspirational - INK#145 where it's designer's choice and they've picked One Layer Cards.

You've seen what I've made with this stamp, now visit Uniko to see more inspiring projects from the rest of the team. They've all made such gorgeous cards! Before I go, here's a quick reminder of the release schedule:

Introductions: 11th - 15th October - a first look of the new stamps in action.

RELEASE DAY: Monday 16th October, 9.00am BST. Join us in our traditional Design Team Blog Hop and Giveaway. All the stamps will be available for purchase from Uniko's online store.

That's all from me for now - do come back tomorrow to see more introduction cards from me and the team!

  14. I love this card.
If you are doing a lot of
    cards, this would be great.
Change the color ever so often
and you aren't doing the same
thing over and over - boring.
    thanks for sharing.

  15. Gorgeous cards - I love the Block Party card - what a great way to mass produce cards but still have a different look to each. And the CAS look of your second card with the simple sentiment that stands front and center is so striking to me and so perfect!
