So many boxes ....

.... our new house is really beginning to feel like home now that all our goods have arrived.  However, we are surrounded by boxes!!!  We have them in the kitchen, family room, bedrooms, basement and garage!!  And today when they guys come back, they will be unpacking the boxes.  They were so good yesterday unloading the sea container really quickly and getting it all inside.  My part of the job was checking off the boxes as they came in.  Customs examined quite a few boxes, particularly those marked "craft room"!!!

It's really nice to have our furniture around us.  The office is coming together quite well - the desks have been assembled, we only need to find the computers.  All the bedrooms have beds, which is fortunate as we're looking after our friends' boys tonight.  While Nicola & Richard go out to see Snow Patrol, the kids will be having pizza in front of the TV and Jonathan and I will be putting away our belongings!

I'm really looking forward to getting my craft room sorted - but that has to be after we've done the kitchen, office, and the rest of the house!  See you soon.

    Yeah the belongings have arrived, even though unpacking will be a project, I bet you're glad to have everything!!!

    I've always found that once I got my kitchen sorted and arranged, that everything else just fell into place. Good luck with the unpacking!

    Now the new life realty begins. Have a wonderful time re-acquainting yourselves with you belongings and you will soon be back to as normal as you can be in another country :o)
