Heating on the blink ....
.... why is it that when things break down they go at the most inconvenient time? My boiler seems to have died - just when I'd like the heating to come on - it's getting quite chilly here tonight!!! I've called my plumber and the alternate, but neither can come until Monday. I suppose the up side is that it's not as cold as it could be!! Darn!!! Sorry to rant - just needed to let off some steam :) See you!

Hope it stays mild all weekend! Our boiler melted on Sunday so we were in the same situation last weekend and got a new one fitted on Tuesday so its warm and toasty again now thankfully.

Oh no Deborah! There are appliance gremlins about I'm sure of it! Hot water bottles and blankets are my top tips...
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed that it's not too cold this weekend! We went without heat in the middle of winter for almost a month and it was FREEZING. :( We had just bought our home and were a bit strapped for cash...luckily we had really nice friends who gave us some electric heaters... :)
