Thanksgiving Waltz ....

.... I'm late for the October Waltzingmouse Blog Waltz - the theme this month is Thanksgiving and Gratitude!

My excuse is that I was so busy getting more rooms ready to decorate that I ran out of crafting time!!  I did get my card finished, but the light was so awful last night - and it's not great now, but I've taken a picture and am posting now.   I'll edit this post later to include all the details - but I wanted to get the card up before 9.00am!  And I think I might just make it.
Edited to add :  Well I'm back and I've taken a better photo and put that into the blog - it's not quite as orange!!  I had a good morning at craft class - I took some pictures and my Promarkers and spent the morning chatting and colouring.  Bliss!

So to my card for this month's blog Waltz - I started several times with lots of different ideas - they are all in the bin!!

I mentioned last week that I'd borrowed some of my friend's Spellbinders dies - well this is one of hers (and I may well end up getting it too) - I cut the shape from some plain white card and added colour with my distress inks - Vintage Photo and a dash of Black Soot.  I stamped the basket of pumpkins directly into the centre of the doily.  I made several sets of the image and coloured them all with Promarkers, then cutting out the baskets and two layers for the pumpkins.  I cut out a few extra leaves and attached them falling from the basket.

Stamps:  Waltzingmouse - Bountiful Baskets Additions, Say It Loud - Winter Holiday
Inks:  Memento - Rich Cocoa; Distress - Vintage Photo, Black Soot
Spellbinders:  Parisian Motifs (S5-035)
Promarkers:  Amber, Pumpkin, Pear Green, Marsh Green, Terracotta, Cinnamon
Accessories:  Card from stash

Now that I've added the stamp and ink information - I'm off to have a look around the Blog Waltz.  I will be back later - I've another card to share with you all.  See you soon.
