By the sea ....

... it's August - time for holidays by the sea, whether here in the UK, where it can be a bit hit and miss, or some far off shore where the sun is more certain!!  Our theme for the month at St Luke's Charity Card Challenge is to make a card with a

"Beside the Seaside"
feel!!

I've made another card as a reminder - and this was easily the quickest and simplest card I've made, but I rather like it too!!

I found a lovely sheet of vellum in my stash with lots of seaside style photos - and I just love the shells on this one, gorgeous shapes, lovely textures and beautiful shades of blue.  I've attached it very simply to the card base using vellum dots and added a ultra simple sentiment from my peel offs (of which I have many!).  I did colour the peel off with my Promarkers to make it stand out from the image.  Wherever you are going for your holidays - have a great time.  And we'd love you to join the fun - there's even a prize this month - so do check out the blog for full details.

I've been surfing the internet and found a couple of other blogs that have gone for a Sumertime/seaside theme, so I'm entering this card into them too.
