Jingle Belles .....

... I'm still busy working on my resolution to make at least one Christmas card a week - I'm doing reasonably well - I have 25 cards made already.  I need to make at least 150!! :)  So this week's challenge over at Jingle Belles is perfect and allows me to make it 26 cards to date!!  This week we have a sketch to follow designed by Kirsty Vittetoe.  Not only has Kirsty designed the sketch for this week's challenge, but as owner of Pixie Dust Paperie, she has donated a prized for this week's challenge!!

I've gone for a monochrome look, with lots of texture by way of dry embossing.  It was very easy to make, simply cutting a couple of backing sheets one from embossed mirri board and one from some pretty designer paper.  I used my Martha Stewart punch to make the bauble punched border and finally I added the toppers - made from bits of scrap - I cut them to size and attached them to the card.  The main Christmas bauble was die cut with the Stampin' Up! Christmas Bauble punch.

Cuttlebug Embossing Folders:  Snowflakes, Christmas Countdown
Paper:  Anita's Classic Christmas Blue Papers
Accessories:  Martha Stewart Bauble border punch; Card from stash

I was hoping to get back and post another card yesterday evening, but it took quite a while to catch up on commenting on CR84FN and St Luke's Charity Card Challenge - but it was such fun.  And I'm pleased to report that my Physio is just brilliant - after just one session with her yesterday morning, I was pain free almost all day.  The tablets may have helped :)  but she's did a great job and I'm off to see her again later this week.

Before I go, I must apologise for the photo of my card - I still don't have my photo studio (corner) set up yet!!  And I've a question to anyone who can help - I'd like to find a nice countdown/up ticker to record the number of Christmas cards I've made towards my target.  I've seen a few sites, but there are so many that I'd like to hear what people think of their ticker!  Thanks.  See you later.
