Two in one ....

... I've had a very busy morning in my craft room and have made lots of cards - but you'll have to wait and see!!  I know, it's a tease;))

However, I do have a card to share with you now.  I've combined two challenges - this week's colour challenge from The Play Date Cafe - which is absolutely gorgeous, and Less Is More's one layer challenge to focus on a sentiment.

I've made a Christmas card - keeping up with those resolutions - and used some slightly neglected stamps too!

I stamped the large word with Versamark and embossed with silver.  The letters have been painted with Twinkling H20s - which look really lovely in real life, but never seem to work in photos!!  And I added some snowflakes in a very subtle blue.  Should have stamped the word "Christmas" in London Fog!!  I'll try to do another card before I go away so see the difference, but I may not get the chance.

Stamps:  Stampendous - Christmas words (I think); Inkadinkadoo - Snowflakes a plenty
H2Os:  Guatemalan Green, Autumn Skies, Wild Blueberry
Inks:  Memento - Summer Skies

I think that's all for today.  I'm going to make a late lunch (early tea) for Kathryn and me!!  Then I'm back in my craft room to make some more cards.  Don't forget to check in tomorrow for the new CR84FN challenge - Mona has picked some fabulous colours!!  Do join us.

  16. Deborah, I think I agree that Christmas should have been stamped in a lighter color...it's still a great card. I sure wish the twinkling h2o would show up better!

  23. Hello Deb! I like that you chose a CHristmas theme for your card using our colors this week. It's a shame that shimmery/sparkly cards never look the same in a pic as IRL. I can imagine this one shining up a storm! THanks for playing with us at THe Cafe.
