Mini cards ....

... I like mini cards and have used them quite a lot in recent months, so you can imagine how pleased I was when I saw this week's challenge at Waltzing Mouse Sketch Challenge.  This week instead of one large card, they would like us to make some mini cards - what fun!!

I think the hardest part of this challenge was trying to decide what to make.  I finally settled on some mini cards for guys - strictly for my guys - Ben and Jonathan.

For this set of four - I used my all time favourite guy stamps - Free Spirit - Boy and Sentiments.  I kept them all really simple, by stamping the large circle background in lighter shades for the background and over stamping with clean, simple sentiments in coordinating darker shades.

Apologies about the photos, I still haven't got myself a photo box, so these where taken in my hall with less than optimal lighting!!  However, they are much better pictures than the scanned images!  Each card measures 3" × 3" and is pearly white, great for when you need a quick card.

Stamps:  Waltzing Mouse Stamps - Free Spirit - Boy, Free Spirit - Sentiments
Inks:  Memento - Tuxedo Black, London Fog, Summer Sky, Paris Dusk, Pear Tart, Bamboo Leaves, Desert Sand, Rich Cocoa

I think I'm going to have another go at this challenge later today - I've just thought of another idea!!  However, I'm off to be pampered this morning - a nice body massage, and after all the driving I've done in the last few weeks and the tension built up in my shoulders, I'm going to enjoy it!!  Take care and see you soon.
