Less Is More - Variations ...

... yesterday I made a second card for the Less Is More challenge which is to use pink, black and white on a clean and simple card.  It's been an incredibly popular challenge and Chrissie and Mandi have had over 160 entries - which is amazing.

Anyway, the card I made yesterday featured a really lovely deco style flower which, obviously, was coloured pink!  I liked it so much that I thought I'd try out a variation on colour - so here it is - in blue!!!

It's such an easy card to make - and simply by changing the colour of the matte, the flower and the last few words of the greeting - totally changes the feel of the card.

Stamps:  Papermania - PMA10069 Deco Flower; Waltzingmouse - Sewing Box -Hugs
Inks:  Memento - Tuxedo Black, Danube Blue;  Versafine - Onyx Black
Promarkers:  Royal Blue, Cobalt Blue, Pearl Blue
Spellbinders:  Long Classic Rectangles Sm (S4-144) #4, Long Classic Scalloped Rectangles Sm (S4-145) #2, Labels 14 (S4-290) # 4
Accessories:  Card and gems from stash; Crafter's Companion - Spray 'n' Sparkle - Silver

I'm going to make a couple more tomorrow - just to see how they look!!  I had a fun time watching the Martha Stewart programme on QVC - and I bought a couple of things - a few more punches for my collection:))  They're fabulous and I can't wait for them to come!!

And that's all for this evening.  I've got to get ready for my Scouts meeting tonight.  I've decided that tonight we're going to have a Games Night - lots of running around and shouting!!  Hopefully, I'll send them all home exhausted.  It will be organised choas!!  I got to sort through my stamps for some heart/love stamps - the Cubs are having a craft evening and need a few to use!!

See you all tomorrow!
